Corporate Culture of the Job Agency and Proposals for Its Improvement

The diploma thesis deals with the corporate culture of a selected job agency and its values. The theoretical part is based on the studied literature to explain the issue of agency employment, human resources and corporate culture as a factor that affects the efficiency and performance of the organization. The practical part analyzes the responses of the company's core employees from conducted semi-structured interviews. This feedback about the corporate culture and its perception by the employees themselves compared to management's expectations provides suggestions for improving the in-house climate and thus increasing labor productivity.

The theoretical part explains the fundamentals of labor relations in legal, economic, accounting and tax concepts. The analytical part focuses on a specific problem of an employer with understaffing issues. Based on the acquired knowledge in the theoretical and analytical parts, employers are presented with recommendations so they may solve the defined problem.

As a result of commission payments, there is an increase in costs for the employer. The thesis is dedicated to optimizing the costs associated with human resources. It will also detects whether the employer is entitled to one of the contributions under the active employment policy.

Atypical Forms of Employment

The thesis deals with atypical forms of employment, from their definition, through legal regulation to their use in practice. Atypical employment is a highly topical issue in labour law. This is confirmed by the development in the European Union countries, where an increasingly clear shift from the typical employment relationship model to atypical forms of employment can be observed. Atypical employment can be a tool to promote higher employment rate, flexible adaptation to the requirements of the labour market and reconciliation of work and family life. The thesis consists of an introduction, three chapters systematically divided into subchapters, and a conclusion. The first chapter deals with the development of labour law in the Czech Republic. The second chapter deals with labour law in the sense of its concept, subject and position in the legal system. The core part of the thesis is its third chapter, which deals with selected atypical forms of employment regulated by the Czech legal system. The topic of the thesis is agency employment. Due to its flexibility and the current situation on the Czech labour market struggling with a labour shortage, agency employment is a frequently used and necessary part of the Czech legal system. In the Czech legal regulation of agency employment, however, we find a number of problematic areas, as a result of which, among other things, the rights of employees temporarily assigned by employment agencies may be jeopardized and insufficiently ensured, or, on the contrary, entrepreneurs operating employment agencies may be unnecessarily burdened. The main goal of this diploma thesis is to describe the problematic aspects of the Czech legislation in the field of agency employment with an emphasis on the legal regulation of the establishment and operation of employment agencies and selected frequently violated or problematic obligations in the field of agency employment relations, in relevant cases to compare these problematic aspects with foreign legal systems and propose a possible corresponding amendments to the Czech legislation. The bachelor thesis deals with agency employment. It describes the principle of how this form of employment works within the framework of domestic legislation. The problems that are being solved in connection with this issue are also being touched upon in thesis. Recent court decisions have also provided a significant source of information. The individual hypotheses of the thesis and the overall goal of the thesis are solved by a questionnaire survey, together with other obtained data on the topic.
Identification of opportunities and threats for the selected company

The diploma thesis deals with opportunities and threats identification in a particular company. To detect its opportunities and threats, the company has to analyse micro and macro environment, at first. In order to analyse company's macro environment, the STEP analysis is used. The STEP analysis facilitates external factors identification and its possible effects on a company in the near future. The micro environment analysis is carried out by The Porter's model of five competitive forces in the industry, supplemented by points and comparison of the largest competitors. At the same time, An analysis of selected financial indicators is performed, which together with Porter's model of five competitive forces in the sector reveals the company's strengths and weaknesses. After processing all the information and subsequent evaluation using SWOT analysis, recommendations are proposed. These eliminate hidden threats and take advantage of the opportunities, which the agency employment market undoubtedly offers.
